Massage therapy provides an alternative option to help alleviate the tissue discomfort associated with both everyday and occupational stresses, muscle overuse and many chronic pain syndromes. It can also greatly reduce the development of painful muscular patterning if employed early enough after accidents involving trauma and injury.
The purpose of a Registered Massage Therapist is to help create a change in an individual’s physiology so that the body has a chance to heal itself by decreasing pain and increasing range of motion.
